Trains on the Brain Savour the journey & travel by train

It’s all about India this week on Trains on the Brain.  First the danger of flying curries on board the Shimla Toy Train and now Passports with Purpose, in which I’m building a village in India with my own bare hands…(well, OK not exactly, but it got your attention hopefully.)

After my last, somewhat self indulgent, post I’m pleased to be involved with something a little more constructive, literally. Along with 100 or so other bloggers, I’m taking part in Passports with Purpose, a fantastic project which raises money to build a village in rural India. The really good news is that you can get involved too.

Not only do you get to bask in the warm glow that comes from doing something good, but you could even get something back yourself.  It’s beautifully simple. You click on a link and donate a measly $10 by paypal and then choose which of the many great prize draws to enter.
